Our Speaker for September 11 2015 isFWHoffman

Frederick W. Hoffman, a former Chrysler executive and state official, Counsel to Clark Hill PLC’s Detroit office.

 

 

He had served as Chrysler’s director of State Relations, responsible for legislation, regulations and economic development throughout the U.S.
Fred is an experienced attorney, having held various Michigan public positions, including former Governor Jennifer Granholm’s advisor on auto restructuring and economic development, director of the Auto & Steel Division of the state’s Commerce Department under former Governor James Blanchard, and a deputy mayor for Dearborn under former Mayor John O’Reilly, father of the current mayor.

From 1967-77, he worked as a columnist and editor for the Dearborn Guide Newspapers and the Times Herald Publications.
In addition to this professional experience, Fred is currently affiliated with a number of organizations, including the University of Michigan – Dearborn, which he serves as director of Strategic University Relationships. He also serves as the state-appointed member of the Detroit Wayne County Port Authority and as Honorary Consul in Michigan for the Federal Republic of Germany.
In the community, Fred is a member of the board of directors of the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition, the Rainbow Connection, the Welcoming Michigan Advisory Board, and the German-American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, among others.

 

Die Kosten für den Abend betragen $ 28.  In diesem Preis sind ein reichhaltiges Dinner Büffet mit Fisch, Hühnchen, Pasta, Salaten, Gemüse und Nachtisch, einschließlich nichtalkoholischer Getränke wie Kaffee, Decaf, Kräutertee sowie Bedienung und Steuern inbegriffen. Soft Drinks müssen extra bezahlt werden.  
 
Bitte Scheck (ausgestellt auf GPWA, Inc.) oder passendes Bargeld bei der Verteilung der Namensschilder überreichen.
 
Wer noch nicht die Mitgliedsgebühr für dieses Jahr bezahlt hat, kann das Mitgliedsformular mit Scheck mitbringen. 
 
Bitte seid rücksichtsvoll und meldet euch rechtzeitig an! Wir bekommen Schwierigkeiten mit dem Hotel, wenn wir ihnen die verbindliche Teilnehmerzahl zu spät mitteilen.
